O'Dwyer Rankings: Best New Biz Tool Ever
By Greg Hazley
Anyone who doubts that the O’Dwyer PR firm rankings are the best new business generator ever for PR firms need only go to Google and enter "healthcare PR ranking," "financial PR ranking," "high tech PR ranking" or any of the other specialty rankings of O'Dwyer.
The same holds true for the O'Dwyer city rankings.
Right at the top or near the top are the O'Dwyer rankings, the 96 healthcare firms that rank, the 69 financial/IR firms that rank, and the 100 tech firms that rank.
Thousands of unique visitors access the rankings pages every month.
This is the last day for acceptance of rankings, although data will be taken next week if the firm notifies the O'Dwyer Co. today (either Directory editor Melissa Werbell at Melissa@odwyerpr.com, or Jack O’Dwyer at firstname.lastname@example.org).
Those shopping for PR firms who access the lists find that there are links to the O'Dwyer's directory listings for the firms.
Never before has it been so quick and easy to look at a number of firms.
Firms give a simple reason for taking part in the O'Dwyer rankings: it brings in business.
In addition to the overall rankings, PR firms provided fee income totals for 580 specialty practice areas.
City Rankings Also Appear
Clients looking for firms by city can google “New York City PR firm ranking” and the O’Dwyer ranking will appear.
Firms are missing a bet if they don’t take part in the rankings, which have become well established over the past 39 years, said publisher Jack O'Dwyer.
The required tax forms, top page of the latest corporate income tax return (the 2009 return can be supplied later) and the W-3 form showing payroll, do not show individual salaries or other personal information, he said. [Download rankings form]
Additional work by a CPA is not necessary to take part in the rankings, O'Dwyer added.
