Fed Up In NYC! (8/16):
EXCELLENT! Another vehicle to spread the propaganda... but all in the name of the First Amendment. Buyer beware.
Joe Honick (8/16):
Wait a minute! How come we have corporate Palestine and allegedly starving Palesinians? The answer is that there are many Palestinians in need and ignored by the known millionaires in their midst and the crocodile tear dripping oil countries who ignore tham except for propaganda purposes, and it is a disgrce.
Ron Levy (8/17):
PR Newswire management is very bright, and PR Newswire material is gladly accepted by the world's media. I'd be very surprised, and I think it won't happen, if PR Newswire were to jeopardize its good name with media by running propaganda. If PR Newswire reports as fact--even with attribution--information that's propaganda rather than fact, then I'm wrong but it seems extremely unlikely. What MAY happen that could benefit the whole Middle East is that feedback from PR Ndewswire will get Palestinian media relations to now what is known by Middle East accounts that retain large American PR firms: a key to worldwide media acceptance is to make good decisions, do good things and issue truthful reports. We'll see.
Joe Honick (8/17):
Ron, once more you race past some realities. First, the Middle East is not bereft of heavy duty and well financed PR by a long shot. The Saudis ands UAE have spent mightily both on PR and massive lobbying with one of the most powerful outfits operating in DC: Patton Boggs and others. Libya likewise has engaged powerful former Congressmen and PR firms. So there is no lack of MIddle Eastern media stuff.
What I have suggested here is that many Palestinians in need have been ignored by their own wealthy people and Arb nations who have used them for political and propaganda reasons. Ig you think the Middle East has problems with media, you have not been reading and listening to powerful operations like Al Jazeera among others.
Veep (8/17):
Doesn't this make this PR agency a target when Israel shells Palestinian media? |
