Burson-Marsteller has tapped Jason Teitler for the managing director spot in its U.S. brand marketing practice.
He spent a dozen years at Porter Novelli, where he founded its interactive arm, sports marketing unit and directed global marketing. He exited in 2008.
Teitler left the Omnicom unit for Steiner Sports and Entertainment Marketing, working for Bacardi, Michael C. Fina, TomTom and Auto.Trader.com.
Most recently, Teitler served as executive VP for Piehead, an online strategy firm in Portsmouth, N.H.
At B-M, Teitler reports to Sam Lucus, chairs of the domestic brand marketing group.
