M&SLGroup has won a competitive pitch process for Ronald McDonald House Charities in the Chicago area and northwest Indiana ahead of the opening of the largest RMH in 2010.

MS&L is charged with guiding social media marketing and PR for the organization which hosts families of sick children visiting hospitals.
"It was critical for us to find a PR agency that could help us reach our fundraising goals, activate volunteers, and engage the community in the development of our new House," Doug Porter, chief executive officer of RMH of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, said in a statement.
Last year, the organization hosted more than 22,000 family nights, Porter noted, adding that many nights the houses were full.
The hiring of MS&L comes as a 14-story RMH slated for a 2012 opening to support a new children’s hospital at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago is planned to be the largest of such houses in the country. It will have 86 guest rooms.
