The public sector authority that runs Detroit’s million-square-foot convention hall and hosts the North American International Auto Show is on the hunt for a PR firm via an open RFP.
The Detroit Regional Convention Facility Authority, which took over a 30-year lease on the Cobo Hall Convention and Exhibition Center last year, issued an RFP on Dec. 6 for strategic PR and media relations.
The center has hosted the auto show since 1961, as well as other trade shows and events to draw about 1.5M visitors each year.
Proposals are due by Dec. 23.
