MWW Group has hired Traci Carpenter as director of speechwriting and content to oversee executive communications and material for the independent firm’s corporate and consumer clients.
Most recently, Carpenter served on the staff of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
Earlier she was senior speechwriter for President Bill Clinton and the William J. Clinton Foundation in charge of statements, talking points, blog posts, speeches and letters for the former Commander-in-Chief. She also did messaging and content development for the Clinton Global Initiative.
Carpenter began her political career working for then-Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm.
MWW chief Michael Kempner said in a statement that Carpenter’s “unique combination of political speechwriting and non-profit marketing experience has enabled her to adapt to different voices and styles, meet impossible deadlines and drive the conversation from tweet to speech.”
