Strategy XXI Group has signed a one-year $360K contact with Ras Al Khaimah to promote direct investment in the northernmost part of the United Arab Emirates.
The New York-based Kreab Gavin Anderson unit is to conduct outreach here and overseas on behalf of the RAK, which pitches its favorable regulatory/legal framework, zero income tax and strategic location as a gateway to the Asia and Africa’s two billion people to lure potential investor partners.
Strategy XXI’s founder Harriet Mouchly-Weiss, who once headed GCI International, and managing partner Andrew Frank, handle the RAK push.
RAK had an eight-month contract in 2008 and '09 with BKSH & Associates to promote the friendship tour of the U.S by its Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi. That visit culminated in his attending Barak Obama’s inauguration.
