Los Angeles World Airports, the operator of three airports including Los Angeles International Airport, is asking for input ahead of an RFP for its PR account as the flagship LAX undergoes a multibillion-dollar overhaul.
LAWA has released a draft RFP and is soliciting comments for two weeks with plans to unveil the final RFP in January, according to Mary Grady, managing director of media and PR.
The RFP will be focused on developing and coordinating a PR campaign that highlights the construction and capital improvement projects underway at LAX, the sixth busiest airport in the world which is in the midst of a $4.1B capital improvement plan.
Grady is a former reporter and LAPD public information officer who joined LAWA in October.
