Edward Walsh, managing director of APCO’s London outpost, said increased client demand for corporate reputation services sparked the move for the independent firm.
“We’re deepening our bench,” he said.
Ten staffers are joining from Eloqui, which brings APCO's total staff number in London to nearly 50, the firm told O'Dwyer's.
Brad Staples, president, international, for APCO called London a key global hub for the firm and a gateway to the growing Asian market.
Eloqui was founded by CEO Chris Genasi, former global strategy director for WS, along with partner Joanne Milroy (corporate director) and financial backer and chairman Richard Sermon, who was CEO of Shandwick International and a PR advisor to Goldman Sachs Int’l.
Clients include Unilever, GE, Scotts Miracle Gro and FleetCor.
APCO said Eloqui staffers will move into its Covent Garden offices this month.
