Former Congressman Harry Teague has moved to Turner Government and Public Affairs, the firm of former Fleishman-Hillard lobbying VP Caren Turner, in D.C. as a consultant.
Teague, a one-term Democrat from New Mexico in a Republican district who lost a re-election bid in last year’s GOP mid-term sweep, will focus on legislative and regulatory counseling, including sectors like energy, environment and health.
In the House, he served the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, as well as the Veterans’ Affairs Committee.
Teague founded a successful oil-well servicing business.
Turner said adding Teague lets the firm assist clients in both traditional and alternative energy issues.
