Patrice Tanaka has written "Becoming Ginger Rogers … How Ballroom Dancing Made Me a Happier Woman, Better Partner and Smarter CEO," which will be available Sept. 6.
The co-chair & chief creative officer at CRT/tanaka says the book about her recently found passion for ballroom dancing is part memoir about her coming to New York from Hawaii to pursue a career in the Big Apple and a business book about lessons learned from dance.
Tanaka says ballroom dancing helped her to "reclaim" her life in the aftermath of 9/11, unraveling of her business, and death of her husband, Assad.
Published by BenBella Books, "Becoming Ginger Rogers" is available to pre-order at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Tanaka is looking for feedback on her BeGingerRogers Twitter site and Becoming Ginger Rogers fan page on Facebook.
