Ryan Barr, former co-head of Hill & Knowlton’s New York communications group and financial relations leader, has joined IGB Group, the IR and business communications firm.

At H&K, Barr handled executive visibility, thought leadership campaigns, M&As, IPOs and crisis communications programs.
Earlier, he was VP-corporate communications & strategic partnerships at Atari, where he also did capital fundraising and asset divestiture work.
Barr, 37, also did stints at Medialink, Brainerd Communications, Morgan-Walke Assocs. and Ogilvy PR Worldwide. His title at IGB is managing director and corporate communications practice leader.
Barr reports to IGB president Leon Berman, who also announced the promotion of Michael Cimini to the managing director and IR practice leader post. The five-year IGB vet is an alum of KCSA Worldwide, and Stern & Co. |
