DCI Group, the Washington-based public affairs shop, has added Beneva Schulte and Kevin McLaughlin as VPs.
Schulte, a 20-year communications veteran, was chief deputy director for the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission handling external affairs during the public hearings over the global financial meltdown. She worked as national communications director for Chris Dodd for President and did stints at Webber Merritt Strategies and Barbour Griffith & Rogers.
McLaughlin has 10 years of experience in Washington and on the Republican campaign trail. He was communications director for Texas Sen. Senator John Cornyn and held posts in the political runs of John McCain and John Raese (West Virginia Senate seat).
McLaughlin worked in the State Dept.’s shop and handled broadcast duties for the Republican National Committee. |
