Direct Impact has added Randy Bumps, who was a top political strategist at the National Republican Senatorial Committee’s independent expenditure unit, as executive VP.
Bumps served in the Maine House of Representatives for six years before getting involved in national Republican politics in '02. He ran RNC field operations in New England, New York and New Jersey as northeast regional political director.
Owned by Burson-Marsteller, DI is headed by Dave DenHerder, who views Bumps’ network of federal, state and policy leaders as a benefit for clients.
DenHerder was a regional political director in the Bush/Cheney White House.
