Next Fifteen Communications Group has acquired digital shop Bourne, a Glasgow-based firm with London and New York offices, for a base payment of about $3.2M (£1.95M).
Bourne, which had revenue of £2.5M in 2010 and about three dozen staffers, handles services like creative and planning, content development and SEO for clients including Dell, Ricoh and Symantec. Dan Kersh is CEO and said the deal gives his firm “greater breadth” for clients and adds to its “long-term vision.”
With the deal, NF takes an initial 80% stake in the firm with earn-outs and cash payments that stretch through 2014. Options for the final 20% could be picked up by 2018.
CEO Tim Dyson said the move complements its push to expand digital operations, including the launch of its Beyond agency last year and deals to bolster Bite Communications.
NF owns firms like 463 Communications and Text 100. |
