Iain Bundred, who was political PR chief and “right hand man” to former U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown, has moved to Ogilvy PR Worldwide in London as director of strategic media relations.
Bundred was a Labour Party operative and cabinet adviser before moving to 10 Downing Street in 2009 under Brown, who served from 2007-10.
Ogilvy, which called the hire a “major coup” for its London office, said Bundred will handle media relations, political communications and other PR tasks under office head Ross Cathcart.
Ogilvy is part of WPP.
