Ann Marie Hauser, a seasoned GOP communications operative who worked Tim Pawlenty’s brief run for president last year, has landed at JDA Frontline in D.C. as VP of public affairs for the firm.
Hauser was VP of media relations and CSR for JPMorgan Chase when she stepped down in June 2011 to hit the trail for Pawlenty, the former Minnesota governor who struggled to gain momentum and dropped out of the race after a third-place finish in the Iowa Caucuses in August.
Hauser held several PR posts during the Bush administration, including director of public affairs and press secretary for the Commerce Dept., international affairs spokeswoman at the Treasury Dept., and regional press secretary for the Republican National Committee and Bush-Cheney re-election campaign.
After President Barack Obama’s election, Hauser did a stint as communications director for Sen. Mike Johanns (R-Neb.) before entering the private sector at JPMorgan Chase.
JDA Frontline is led by Jim Dyke, a former comms. aide to the Bush administration and ex-Sen. Majority Leader Bill Frist
