Nancy Dubuc, who heads the women-oriented media property, said Moore’s work in publicity, brand marketing and public affairs will be an asset “as our brand continues to evolve.”
As senior VP/publicity, Moore works alongside two-year vet Les Eisner, who joined as VP of corporate communications and publicity from the Lippin Group in 2009 after Lifetime’s acquisition by A&E TV Networks.
Moore was VP of corporate comms. at Nickelodeon and BET during the late 1990s and early 2000s. She moved on from Nick to the National Urban League, heading marketing and communications over four years, before taking the Temple Univ. marketing and branding slot in 2010.
Lifetime’s longtime PR chief Meredith Wagner and senior VP Josh Sabarra left after the A&E deal in 2009.
While A&E owns Lifetime, A&E itself is a joint venture of Hearst Corp., Disney/ABC and Comcast’s NBCUniversal.
