Jay Devine and Vince Powers have parted ways after nine years as Philadelphia’s Devine + Powers with Devine buying out Powers’ interest and renaming the firm Devine + Partners.

Powers has set up his own consulting shop, Powers Brand Communications, focused on small business and emerging growth organizations.
The two were formerly execs at Tierney Communications until setting up D+P in 2003.
“We are very proud of our time together and equally excited about the opportunities ahead to continue to work together,” they said in a statement today.
The firm has worked with clients like Tiffany & Co., The Philadelphia Inquirer, Firstrust Bank and Sunoco Logistics.
