Lee Tashjian, VP-corporate affairs at engineering giant Fluor Corp., is retiring June 29.
Clif Webb, VP-corporate communications at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, the venture that Fluor manages for the U.S. Dept. of Energy, takes over for Tashjian’s corporate slot.
Prior to Fluor, which he joined in 1995, Tashjian was senior VP-PA and executive assistant to the CEO at DuPont. He also served as VP-corporate communications at Atlantic Richfield and VP-university relations at Ohio State.
Tashjian will continue as Fluor representative to the World Economic Forum.
Webb has more than 35 years of government and PA experience gained from service at Dupont, where he served as VP-government affairs, and the Dept. of Dept. of Energy.
Fluor, based in Irving, Tex., generated $23B in 2011 revenues and employs 42,000 people.
