The City of Santa Clara is looking to hire a firm to supplement its in-house PR capabilities on an as-needed basis, according to its RFQ.

Scope of services for the city of 125K also covers the Santa Clara Stadium Authority, operator of Levi’s Stadium, which is the home of the San Francisco 49ers National League Football team.

Santa Clara wants a firm with PA/media relations savvy, preferably with knowledge of local government, to develop strategies and tools that increase public awareness of the city,

“Efforts are intended to enhance transparency, leverage media coverage and enrich brand identity,” notes the RFQ.

Santa Clara is home of the Intel Museum, Mission Santa Clara de Asis (founded 1777 and the first California mission to honor a woman), Triton Museum of Art and the Santa Clara Railroad Depot (National Register Historic Places-listed passenger station that was the oldest continuously operated train depot west of the Mississippi until its ticket office closed in 1997).
