Ed Miller, Honda Motor's senior manager, corporate affairs and news/industry relations, has joined Fahlgren Mortine as senior VP/national media director.
The 11-year veteran of the Japanese automaker handled outreach to the national/trade press and government officials.
He held a similar post at Ford Motor for a decade.
Miller has a solid journalism background with stints at Ward’s Auto World (editor-in-chief), Detroit News (automotive reporter), and the Associated Press in New York (national editor) and Detroit (auto writer).
Neil Mortine, president of Columbus-based FM, said Miller’s contacts with "countless members of the global media" would be a plus for the firm’s client base.
