Kit Frieden, health and science editor for the Associated Press in New York, has moved to the PR realm with Androvett Legal Media & Marketing in Houston.
The Houston Chronicle vet joined the AP in 2001 as an assistant newsfeatures editor and later established the AP's first science desk in New York. She was state editor at the Chronicle through the Branch Davidian showdown and the term of Gov. George W. Bush.
Frieden, who works in Houston for the Dallas-based firm, said she is "thrilled" to return to Texas to serve Androvett's legal sector PR clients.
