Fort Worth-based Holland Services, which helps oil and gas companies secure land and mineral rights, has brought in Chesapeake Energy's Leah King to head marketing, communications and PR as a senior VP.
King was senior director of public affairs at Chesapeake in the Barnett Shale, guiding community relations and PR for the company as it tapped the huge natural gas field under the city of Fort Worth.
She previously worked PR and marketing at RadioShack Corp.
King's position is a new one at Holland, which received an investment from private equity firm H.I.G. Capital in June.
