Marcy Stech, who worked communications for the pro-Obama “super PAC” Priorities USA, has landed at EMILY’s List, a traditional PAC, as national press secretary for the group supporting pro-choice women Democrats.

Stech was deputy communications for Priorities USA during the 2012 election, joining the group after working press for Richard Blumenthal’s successful run for the U.S. Senate from Connecticut.

Stephanie Schriock, president of Washington-based EMILY’s List, Called Stech a “smart and energetic woman with an incredible wealth of experience fighting for progressive causes.”

Earlier, she was at Glover Park Group after starting out in comms. in Minnesota politics.

EMILY’s List gets its name from an acronym for “early money is like yeast.”
