MWW has recruited Evan Smith to lead a newly formed corporate healthcare communications practice.
The more than 20-year corporate/financial PR-experienced veteran most recently handled investor relations duties at inVentiv Health and earlier worked at its Chandler Chicco Cos. Rx PR unit.
Smith, who did a stint at FTI Consulting, is founder of CPR Financial Communications, which was acquired by Weber Shandwick.
He also was at Fred Alger Management and Gintel Equity Management institutional investment firms.
At MWW, he reports to Careen Winters, executive VP-corporate reputation.
