produceA national campaign encouraging kids to eat produce is searching for a PR firm to guide a spring 2014 push tied to raising funds for children's hospitals.

Produce for Kids is an 11-year organization started by Georgia onion giant Suman Produce that has aligned with national supermarket chains and the Comcast/PBS-backed Sprout TV network for kids. It runs two marketing campaigns per year and slates its spring 2014 effort, "Get Healthy, Give Hope," to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.

The group wants a PR firm to aid in development and execution of the national spring campaign.

Proposals are due Jan. 7, but must register intent to pitch by Dec. 20.
