Eric Savitz, who spent nearly 30 years in financial and technology journalism mostly at Forbes and Barron’s, has joined Brunswick Group in San Francisco as partner.
Most recently, Savitz served as S.F. bureau chief for Forbes covering technology, investing and Silicon Valley news.
He spent 19 years at Barron’s in New York and the Bay Area, served as contributing editor to Smart Money and worked as executive editor of The Industry Standard.
Amanda Duckworth, who heads Brunswick’s S.F. office, considers Savitz “one of the most distinguished journalists covering finance, technology and innovation.”
