uscThe University of South Carolina's business school, which specializes in international business education and research, is on the hunt for a global PR firm to boost its rankings, reputation and recruitment.

The Darla Moore School of Business, named after a partner in the private investment firm Rainwater after her $70M pledge, released an RFP on

The school wants an international PR firm with "significant" experience in the business education sector, particularly at the graduate level. It sees a "once-in-a-generation news story" in the opening of the new building this summer and through its new dean, Peter Brews, who took the reins in mid-January. He was associate dean of the Univ. of North Carolina's OneMBA program.

A three-year engagement with a PR firm is expected.

Proposals are due June 19.
