Omnicom's Diversified Agency Services unit, which houses PR firms like Ketchum, Porter Novelli and Fleishman-Hillard, has solidified its leadership around two 54-year-old finance executives who have worked together for 14 years in the division.

OMC this week added the chairman title to two-year CEO Dale Adams as previous chairman Thomas Harrison relinquished the title April 1 and is now chairman emeritus. Harrison, whose healthcare marketing comms. agency was acquired by the conglomerate in 1992, gave up the CEO reins to Adams in 2011.

Adams' president title has been handed to CFO John Doolittle, a PR sector alum in 10 years as CFO of holding company IPR who joined OMC in 199.

Omnicom president and CEO John Wren said Adams, who joined OMC in 1991, and Doolitte have worked together for 14 years, adding the move puts a "strong leadership team in place."

Adams was CFO of DAS until 2008.

DAS includes 200 agencies across advertising, PR, research, media planning and other disciplines. Other PR firms include Marina Maher, Kreab Gavin Anderson, Mercury and VOX Global.
