Carmichael Lynch Spong has picked up agency of record duties for food and beverage container icon Thermos, following a competitive review.
The hundred-year-old privately held Thermos LLC is based in Schaumburg, Ill., and previously worked with Wheatley & Timmons and founder Rich Timmons' 3rd Coast PR for the past nine years.
Doug Spong, president of Interpublic-owned CLS, called Thermos "one of the world's great brands and one that we've all grown up with and loved."
Thermos sells its lunch kits and beverage containers in more than 70 countries.
