AFFIInterpublic's McCann Erickson, GolinHarris and Casanova Pendrill (Hispanic communications) units have gobbled up a national consumer campaign form the American Frozen Food Institute.

The work focuses on AFFI's newly created Frozen Food Roundtable, which was formed to promote the nutritional and economic benefits of frozen foods.

The roundtable is funded by General Mills, Kellogg Co., Heinz, ConAgra, Hillshire Brands, Pinnacle Foods and Schwan Food Co.

Ellen Ryan Mardiks, vice chairman of GH, says her PR firm is eager to "promote the many reasons why consumers should choose frozen foods."

The frozen food sector is a $6B annual business.
