Jeffrey Lerner, who was political director at the Democratic National Committee, today has returned to DKC Public Relations as executive VP.He also served as White House southern political director during President Obama’s first two years in office, chief of labor group Change to Win's 2008 campaign effort to elect Obama and communications director for New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
At DKC's New York outpost, Lerner will focus on strategic PR and crisis management with managing partner John Marino and managing director Joe DePlasco.
President Sean Cassidy expects clients will benefit from Lerner's "national PA footprint."
DKC is O'Dwyer's No. 9 ranked independent firm with 2012 fee income of $32.8M, up 22 percent from the earlier period.
