Bethany, CT-based marketing and brand development shop Mason Public Relations has appointed Joshua Giardino to the role of director of digital strategies and analytics.

A software engineering and project management expert, Giardino for three years has run his own boutique startup, Clever Marketing Tools, which specializes in natural language processing and information retrieval. He was previously a senior systems engineer for the Office of Community Based Medicine & Lessons from Haiti, a marketing solutions manager of SEO at digital marketing studio iPullRank, an IT project manager at The BILCO Company and a manager of research and development at content marketing agency iAcquire.

Giardino will lead Mason’s Strategy and Analytics team in a bid to improve its marketing automation capabilities, and will also collaborate with the agency’s advertising, creative and PR practices to identify and track client objectives and measure ROI.
