SPLICE Agency, a new healthcare communications agency based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is rebelling against the once-appealing boutique agency model.

“In the new commercial model, sales and marketing are becoming one, IT and operations are strategic players, and clinical underpins it all.  We help to splice all of these disciplines together, striving for a brand—a company—to function and communicate with one voice and one mind,” said co-founder Paul Hagopian.

The agency says it will combine two essential ingredients for its clients—the wisdom and the wow.

“The wisdom is the foundation. It comes from many decades of experience working with marketing, sales and medical leaders, and the know-how to operate an agency successfully,” explained co-founder Joshua McCasland.

“The wow is the creativity, the passion, the innovation...the intangibles that make a brand perform to its potential,” described co-founder Kevin Stokes.

SPLICE is up and running in its Bay Area headquarters, with clients on the east and west coasts.

“We took the time to build a clear plan for this company, striving to get it right from the beginning and sticking to a clear roadmap so that we never lose our way; quality, agility and a strategic purpose must remain at the center of everything we do,” stated co-founder, Jonathan Peischl.
