The Global organization, International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, has issued a request for proposal for agencies that can provide PR and media consulting services.

IASLC is seeking an agency that can provide PR and media relations work for the 18th annual IASLC World Conference on Lung Cancer, which will be held Oct. 15-17 in Yokohama, Japan.

IASLC wants firms that can write and prepare press releases, pitch stories to media outlets and organize press conferences, as well as create and launch a social media program, assist with bylined articles for media, perform media training work and conduct a review of media skills with key IASLC spokespersons and stakeholders.

The work is scheduled to run from May 15 through November 15, with the potential for an ongoing agency retainer. Firms that apply should staff medical writers as well as have international experience.

Deadline for proposals is March 30.
