Charlie Perkins, a seasoned crisis and corporate counselor who held top posts at law giant Baker & McKenzie and auditor Ernst & Young, has landed at New York-based Global Strategy Group as a managing director.
Perkins left the global director of comms. slot at B&M in May after less than year. He was Americas PR director for Ernst & Young and earlier led corporate reputation practices at Weber Shandwick and Edelman.
He also worked public affairs at Prudential Securities and on the campaign side for Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Sen. Frank Lautenberg and Sen. Bill Bradley (Ds-N.J.).
