New York-based strategic PR shop Marino has promoted Danielle Friedman to the position of director of digital and brand strategy.

Friedman joined Marino last year as a brand strategist, where she coordinated and provided counsel on the agency’s integrated marketing, design and brand-building offerings. She was previously stationed at New York-based creative services shop Relevent, which she joined in 2010 and most recently served as senior account executive.

In her new role, Friedman will build out a new infrastructure for Marino's digital practice to ensure better transitions on accounts utilizing both digital and PR services.

Marino, previously known as The Marino Organization, was founded in 1993. Agency clients include Brooklyn Navy Yard Development, McDonald’s, Walmart, Con Edison Solutions, the American Institute of Architects and the Real Estate Board of New York.
