King previously served as director of business development for first responder, law enforcement and military medical device maker North American Rescue, LLC.

Prior to that, he spent two decades working for Sen. Lindsey Graham, where he served as deputy chief of staff and was also executive director of the super PAC backing that former GOP candidate during the 2016 Presidential election, Security Is Strength PAC. King is also co-founder of the 150PAC.org, a bipartisan political action committee focused on federal candidates supportive of international affairs.

In his new role at Glover Park, King will counsel the WPP unit’s clients with a focus on foreign policy challenges and international affairs.

GPG earlier this month announced that it has teamed up with WPP sister financial shops Finsbury (U.K.) and Hering Schuppener (Germany) to form a strategic alliance that will provide clients cross-market access to counsel and digital offerings on a global scale.
