Travel-focused agency Hawkins International Public Relations has named Kristin Boehm as digital director.  The former online editor at New York Post and editor-in-chief of People.com comes over from Manhattan neighbor DKC, where she headed up their digital practice.

“Kristin’s expertise in storytelling, content marketing, leadership, and innovation will be a tremendous asset as we grow both our digital team and the agency as a whole,” Jennifer Hawkins, president and founder of Hawkins International Public Relations, told O’Dwyer’s.

Hawkins is working on diversifying its offerings to clients, and in addition to hiring Boehm, named Andrea Capodilupo as its first corporate communications specialist in late 2016, charging her with overseeing corporate thought leadership and garnering diversified media exposure for the firm’s large brands and entrepreneurial clients.  She previously was a PR specialist at Natixis Global Asset Management.

Founded in 2002, New York City-based Hawkins is one of the top travel PR firms in the country, with $4.5 million in 2016 net fees, according to O’Dwyer’s ranking.
