Nu Wexler, who was VP-public affairs in the Washington office of Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communications, is joining Twitter at the end of the month.
He will handle public policy and political affairs at the micro-blogging site.
At Rasky since March, Wexler handles Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Mediacom Communications and American Student Assistance.
He joined the shop from Connecticut Richard Blumenthal’s office, where he was communications director
Wexler also did a stint as account director at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, working on non-profit, corporate and government accounts, and communications director at activist group Wal-Mart Watch.
