Jack O'Dwyer, who has covered PR, communications, journalism and related fields in his own company since 1968, previously was a financial reporter at two of the five biggest daily newspapers in the U.S., the New York Journal-American (six years) and the Chicago Tribune (four years).
O'Dwyer is a 1956 graduate of the University of Connecticut where he majored in English Literature and minored in economics.
He is publisher and editor of the O'Dwyer Co. which has five major informational and news products, the website www.odwyerpr.com; O'Dwyer's weekly online and print newsletter; O'Dwyer's Directory of PR Firms now in its 42nd annual edition; O'Dwyer's monthly magazine, now in its 27th year, and O'Dwyer's PR Buyer's Guide, listing nearly 1,000 PR products and services in 60 categories.
His memberships include the New York Financial Writers Assn., the International Assn. of Business Communicators, the Society of Professional Journalists, New York Women in Communications, and the Publicity Club of New York (lifetime honorary member).
