Lippe Taylor has named Tracy Naden to the newly created position of consumer practice leader. Naden comes to Lippe Taylor from Weber Shandwick, where she was an executive VP. She has also held executive positions at MSLGROUP, Allidura Consumer and W2O Group. Naden’s hiring completes a reorganization of the agency, with a dedicated healthcare practice under Jennifer O’Neill and the consolidation of its beauty division under Diana Sfera. As part of this process, chief strategic officer Lori Rubinson assumed a new position as chief integration officer. “Tracy was the final piece in a restructuring we’ve undertaken to give best-in-class talent a place to be entrepreneurial and help our clients navigate the increasingly complicated communications landscape,” said agency founder and CEO Maureen Lippe.

FTI Consulting has appointed Valsa Williams as a senior advisor for public affairs in the firm’s strategic communications segment in India. She will be based in Delhi. Williams previously led the government affairs and public Policy function for Intel in South Asia, specifically in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. She will work with the public affairs team within the strategic communications segment to advise clients on public policy matters in the South Asia region. “Valsa will play a key role in enhancing our advisory capabilities in the fast-growing South Asia market,” said Paul Downie, chairman of Asia Pacific for the strategic communications segment.

AdvisIRy Partners has brought on Amy Gardner as senior director. In the newly established position, Gardner has dual responsibility for developing institutional investor interest in the firm’s clients as well as leading business development. Before coming to AdvisIRy, she was a director of international corporate access for Robert W. Baird & Co. Previously, she held sales and corporate access positions at Morgan Stanley, Espirito Santo, Execution-Noble and Bloomberg. “Amy’s expertise in building and strengthening professional relationships is a competitive advantage for AdvisIRy Partners as we move ahead to expand our franchise of domestic and international clients,” said founding partner David Gold. AdvisIRy was officially established in November as a successor to investor relations firm Morgen-Walke Associates, which was acquired by a private equity firm.

FleishmanHillard has promoted Lichi Hsueh, currently head of the firm’s Shanghai operations, to chief operating officer for the firm in China. Yisi Liu, who was deputy general manager in Shanghai, has been promoted to GM of the Shanghai office. FH also announced that Li Hong, former chairman and president of China for the firm, as well as a senior consultant, is moving on after leading FH’s mainland operations for 16 years. Hsueh, who has held executive posts at Golin, Devries Global and Elite PR Group, has worked with leading brands in the technology and financial services sectors. Liu has been with FH Shanghai since 2012. Before coming to FH, he worked for Shunuya Total Communication Group, Weber Shandwick and the China National Tourism Administration. “Lichi and Yisi, together with other members of our senior team in Greater China, represent the next generation of leaders in the public relations industry. They are communication entrepreneurs and their energy and insights, plus disciplined approach, will help Chinese companies and multi-nationals operating in China leverage and export new ways of communicating,” said FH president of Greater China Rachel Catanach.
