Media intelligence company CARMA has appointed Chip Griffin as COO. Griffin, who has been with the company since 2016, will head up its marketing, product development, and content acquisition. Before coming to CARMA, he held executive positions at Franeo, CustomScoop and DCI Group. “Chip has been CEO of CARMA North America for the past couple of years, and in that role established a strong foundation for our rapidly expanding media monitoring and measurement offerings in the U.S.,” said Mazen Nahawi, CEO of CARMA. “We are delighted that he will be bringing his extensive industry knowledge and expertise in innovation to our global operations.” As Griffin assumes global responsibilities, Roxane Papagiannopoulos will take on added duties as Managing Director of Media Analysis for CARMA North America. Papagiannopoulos joined CARMA in September after it acquired RMP Media Analysis, where she served as president.

Nashville-based DVL Seigenthaler has promoted Molly Williamson and Laura Stephens to vice president. Both were previously directors of client services. Williamson, who has been with the agency since 2008, leads its Jack Daniel’s and Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl accounts. Stephens, who has been with the firm since 2013, represents clients in the consumer product, healthcare, technology, education, non-profit and finance sectors. Prior to joining the agency, she served as the public relations specialist at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. In addition, DVL Seigenthaler promoted Sarah Brawner to director of client services, working in the agency’s Health Practice. Before coming to DVL, Brawner was a commnications specialist at the International Food Policy Research Institute.

AmeriHealth Caritas has named Cora Lee Klena senior vice president and chief communications officer. Prior to joining AmeriHealth Caritas, Ms. Klena was a senior vice president for Chubb, running its marketing, communications, and re-branding for the North American market. She has also served in communications leadership capacities at Swiss Re, USAA and E*TRADE. In her new position, she is responsible for the company’s communications, advertising, branding and thought leadership strategies. “We are excited to have Cora join the team. Her distinguished work with major national brands makes her uniquely suited to advance our organization’s mission and brand during a transformational time in our industry,” said Paul Tufano, CEO ofAmeriHealth Caritas.

Lifestyle communications shop The Narrative Group has made three executive promotions. Jamie Krauss Hess, formerly a VP at the firm, has been named senior VP; Alex Masel, most recently a marketing manager, has been upped to director; and Jillian Eldredge, who served as a senior account executive, has been named account supervisor. In addition, the firm has brought on several new clients, including Bizzie Gold, PetPlate, Fairway Market, Body By Simone and Espira.
