CIIC will work to create a dynamic communications campaign to help generate media interest and awareness of the group and its collection of restaurants. Owned and operated by Michael & Kurt Bohlsen, BRG owns and operates eight restaurants and an exclusive events venue in Long Island, as well as a steak and sushi restaurant on the Stamford, CT waterfront. 

Essentia

Interpublic Group agency DeVries Global has been chosen to lead U.S. communications for ionized alkaline bottled water Essentia. DeVries will be charged with communications strategy and activation aimed at driving broad awareness across earned channels as well as supporting Essentia’s fully integrated marketing efforts. Headquartered in Bothell, WA, Essentia Water pioneered ionized alkaline water in 1998 and the brand is now distributed widely across the United States. “We’ve found the perfect PR partner in DeVries with the right blend of team talent, creativity and breadth of expertise to help us take the Essentia brand to the next level,” said Essential senior director of corporate communications Kazumi Mechling.

Uncle Nearest

The Brandman Agency has added Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whiskey to its worldwide luxury travel and lifestyle portfolio. Brandman will support the brand’s launch in the California market. Named after Nathan “Nearest” Green—who taught Jack Daniel how to make Tennessee whiskey—the line of whiskey products honors Green’s unique story as the first African-American master distiller on record in the U.S. Originating in Lynchburg, TN, the brand won a gold medal at the New York World Wine & Spirits Competition and the top Tennessee Whiskey in the 2017 World Spirits Competition by Cigar & SpiritsMagazine.  

Hyatt

Diamond Public Relations has added Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami to its roster of hotel, resort, and destination clients. The agency will manage North American PR efforts to increase consumer awareness for the property, which opened in 2015, in key markets. Situated in the heart of South Beach, the hotel has 105 guest rooms as well as DECK Sixteen, a restaurant/bar on the hotel’s third floor. Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami general manager Eyal Goldberger says that Diamond’s ability to be “on the forefront of what’s trending” was a key factor in selecting the agency.

Grayling has been chosen to handle North American communications for cyber security company Anomali. The agency has been tasked with helping the company cement its reputation as a leader in the emerging threat intelligence-sharing sector. Grayling’s San Francisco team is utilizing funds from Anomali's $40 million Series D round of financing to reinforce the company’s value proposition and vision for the space. The agency has already secured coverage of the company in such media outlets as TechCrunch, eWeek, Fortune and the Wall Street Journal.
