Puerto Vallarta

ENroute Communications has landed the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board to represent the Mexican destination in the US, Canada and Europe.

Founder Carlos Lopez anticipates a media relations-focused push, featuring press trips and media-only events.

His goal is to promote PV’s offerings designed for family, LGBTQ, food tourism, romantic getaway and sports/adventure travelers.

Lopez, a Mexico native, launched Enroute four years ago in New York. Previously, he was an associate at Latitude International, handling clients such as Ecuador’s Ministry of Tourism, Prestige Hotels of the World and Quito’s Tourism Board.

He also worked at the Mexico Tourism Board, where he pitched travelers in 14 northeastern US states.

The PVTB account will be housed in Enroute’s Mexico City office.

Javier Aranda Pedrero, PVTB’s director, said his organization is proud to have selected “a Mexican agency with such established and proven work.”
