Peterman

French/West/Vaughan decks out in J. Peterman gear. The Raleigh firm will provide branding, creative development, media relations and lifestyle integration services for the direct-to-consumer retailer founded in 1987 by John Peterman. The Blue Ash (Ohio)-based company was reacquired by the Peterman family and key employees in 2001 following two-years of ownership by Paul Harris Stores. The Peterman name earned a place in pop culture during the 1990s on sitcom Seinfeld, when the character Elain Benes worked for the world traveling “J. Peterman.”
