Prosper Group has added former Golin CEO Rich Jernstedt to its roster of strategic advisors. He will continue to lead his consultancy, The Jernstedt Company, located in Chicago. Earlier, Jernstedt spent four years as a consultant at Porter Novelli and seven years at FleishmanHillard as CMO. He served on the boards of the Arthur Page Society, Institute for PR Public Relations and PR Council, where he was chairman. Rich’s depth of experience as an agency leader will help guide today’s agency CEOs through the challenges and opportunities of growth and development,” said Prosper Group managing partner Alex Halbur.

Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide has named Andrew Schirmer North America CEO. He succeeds Matt Giegerich, who left the agency last year. Schirmer comes to OCH from McCann Global Health, where, as president, he oversaw the group’s global and public health unit, leading the work the agency did for such clients as UNICEF and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Prior to that he founded and led McCann’s consumer health division, McCann HumanCare.

KemperLesnik has promoted Rob Christenson to event manager. Christenson came to KemperLesnik in 2014 and has done work for each of the agency’s sports properties, which include the Maui Jim Maui Invitational, CBS Sports Classic and McDonalds All American Games. He also worked on the Naperville and Windy City Wine Festivals. Prior to joining KemperLesnik, he was tournament coordinator for the Illinois Junior Golf Association. He also served as the operations coordinator for the Valero Texas Open and was Player Development Coordinator for PGA of America-Illinois Section. In his new role, Christenson will continue to take charge and lead several of the operational efforts for KemperLesnik events.

Pierpont Communications has hired Chris Ferris as vice president of digital strategy. Ferris comes to Pierpont from Houston, TX digital marketing firm BubbleUp, where he was VP marketing. He has also served as director, digital marketing & communication at Texas Children’s Hospital; manager of the web center at St. Luke’s Episcopal Health System; and senior public relations specialist for the President’s Office of Management & Budget during the Clinton Administration. In his new role, Ferris will lead Pierpont’s digital services in digital marketing and customer focused technologies.
