Osborn Barr, a St. Louis-headquartered firm, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a rebrand and a new logo. The agency will now be known as O+B|P, reflecting Osborn Barr’s partnership with its Nashville office, Paramore, which it acquired in 2016. In addition to its new name, the firm is also expanding its scope, adding travel and tourism, non-profit and other sectors to its existing work in the agriculture, health care and education industries . O+B|P’s client roster includes Nutrien, Morton Buildings, Farm Credit, United Soybean Board, Monsanto, LinkedIn and Visit Central Florida.

Diffusion has opened its second U.S. office in Los Angeles. Based in West LA, a seven-member team will be led by Diffusion president Ivan Ristic, U.S. managing director Kate Ryan and supported by Ashton Galstad, a new addition to the Diffusion team. Previously, Galstad worked at Grayling and Golin in Los Angeles where she helped design, lead and execute consumer and business campaigns for such brands as Nintendo and Blizzard. The office opens for business with several West Coast clients, including CyberLink, Electron Wheel, Quizlet and LegalZoom. Diffusion, which launched in 2008, also has offices in New York and London.

AU School of Communication

MWWPR has formed a partnership with American University's School of Communication to launch a summer fellows program aimed at increasing diversity in the PR sector. The seven-week paid fellowship will seek candidates from historically underrepresented groups who have a desire to work in PR, communications, social and digital media, content development, design, video editing and data analytics. Working with MWWPR, the fellows will conceptualize and build their own agency. The inaugural fellowship will culminate in an ongoing yearly program at SOC.
