CMW Media has been selected as PR agency of record by Progressive Care Inc., a healthcare technology services organization and provider of prescription pharmaceuticals, compounded medications and tele-pharmacy services. CMW will provide overall strategic communications planning as well as traditional media relations in an effort to increase overall awareness of Progressive Care’s services in the Florida market. Progressive Care CEO S. Parikh Mars, said the company chose CMA “because of their team’s experience conducting successful communications campaigns for publicly traded companies in emerging markets such as healthcare technology.”

Def Leppard Pale

Praytell Agency, AOR for Elysian Brewing Co., and Donovan Public Relations, which represents rock band Def Leppard, are collaborating on the launch a new beer brand, Def Leppard Pale. The partnership between Praytell and Dononvan includes their PR teams, management and digital/social media efforts. The beer, which is being released in conjunction with a tour headlined by Def Leppard and Journey, will go on sale May 23. It will be available in 16 oz. cans and on draught at most Def Leppard concert venues and select restaurants, bars and pubs. Seattle-based Elysian has brewed more than 500 beers since its opened in 1996, many of them reflecting the brewers’ interest in music.

Riviera nayarit

Newlink has been named agency of record for the Riviera Nayarit Convention & Visitors Bureau. The agency’s tourism practice will be responsible for providing strategic council and executing a communications program for Riviera Nayarit, a beachside travel destination on Mexico’s Pacific Coast. The agency will focus on key markets throughout North and South America, including the U.S., Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Peru. In addition to targeting the luxury travel segment, Newlink will work to increase demand among relevant consumer and trade audiences.

S&A Communications has been named official agency of record for Marcey Rader Coaching. S&A will assist Marcey Rader with securing speaking engagements and media appearances to help promote her brand. Rader, who founded Marcey Rader Coaching in 2013, is also the founder of the Work Well. Play More! Institute, consulting with and providing workshops to global companies, and has a self-paced online course for the improvement of health, career, business and relationships. Her corporate clients have included Cisco, SAS, Biogen, RTI International, Syngenta and Emaar Properties.
